City Buses
Granada has a very efficient city bus network. There are a total of 28 different lines during the day and 2 night lines, which operate after midnight and until 6:00 in the morning.
The transport pass offers a more economical option for those who use public transport on a regular basis.

Metropolitan Tram
The Metropolitan Tram, casually known as Granada metro is a modern and sustainable transportation system that runs from North to South across the city and connects it with several municipalities in the metropolitan area.
With a route that combines underground and on ground sections, it offers a fast and efficient alternative for urban and interurban mobility.

Taxis
Taxis in Granada have a characteristic white color with a green diagonal line on the side and display the city’s coat of arms.
They can be
hailed directly on the street when the green “Libre” sign is on, it’s very easy to find one because they are constantly circulating throughout the city.

Intercity Public Transport

Transportation To and From Granada
Airport
The Federico García Lorca Granada - Jaén airport is located in the Vega del Genil county, in the municipality of Chauchina, 17 km from Granada city center.
To arrive by car, from the A-92 motorway, take the GR-V-1121 road to the airport, which has a parking lot where you can park your vehicle.
The Federico García Lorca Airport Taxi Association operates the taxi service connecting the airport with the city of Granada. Its contact number is +34 622 354 756, although there is a taxi rank located at the airport where taxis are generally available.

If you choose to travel by bus, line 245 Granada-Airport connects to the city center, making intermediate stops at key locations such as Avenida de Andalucía, the bus station, Gran Vía de Colón, and Paseo del Violón, next to the Palacio de Congresos. The entire journey takes approximately 40 minutes.

Bus station
The Granada Bus Station is located in the northern part of Granada and offers travelers tourist information, car rental services, buses linking the station to the city center and Granada Airport, taxis, a restaurant, and a cafeteria.
This station has 28 platforms, from which all of the city’s long-distance lines depart on their various routes.
There is a luggage storage room located on the ground floor next to the waiting room.
Next to the Granada Bus Station, there is paid public parking, and there are numerous free parking areas nearby.
The bus station is located on Avenida Juan Pablo II and enjoys excellent public transport connections. Several city bus lines facilitate access, including lines 5, 21, and 33, which connect the station to different parts of the city. In addition, the metro line has a stop right outside the station’s main entrance called “Estación de autobuses”, providing easy access to other neighbourhoods and nearby towns.
The station is located 3km form the city center, which is approximately a 20-minute bus or taxi ride, depending on traffic conditions.
Train Station
Granada Train Station is an important rail connection point, located in the city center and operating high-speed (AVE) services and medium and long distance trains.
It's located in a central area of the city, Avenida de los Andaluces, s/n, and has good connections with public transport. There is a metro stop at the station entrance (“Estación de Ferrocarril”). Several bus lines have stops nearby on Avenida de la Constitución, within walking distance, for example, lines 4, N1, 21, and 33. There is a taxi stop at the main entrance, the journey to the city center takes aproximately 4 minutes. The station is located approximately 1.5 kilometres from the city center, a distance that can be covered on foot.
