General requirements
Without prejudice to accrediting specific requirements for each visa or authorization, all international investors, entrepreneurs, or teleworkers must meet the following requirements:
- Not be in Spanish territory illegally.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have no criminal record in Spain or in the countries where they have lived during the past two years, for offenses under the Spanish Law. Additionally, a declaration of compliance must be submitted confirming that they have no criminal record in the last five years.
- Not be considered eligible for visas in the territorial area of countries with which Spain has signed an agreement to this effect.
- Have public or private health insurance with an insurance company authorized to operate in Spain.
- Have sufficient financial resources for themselves and their family members during their stay in Spain.
- Pay the fee for processing the authorization or visa.
