General requirements

Without prejudice to accrediting specific requirements for each visa or authorization, all international <B>investors, entrepreneurs, or teleworkers must meet the following requirements</B>:</b></p>
<ul class="lista1">
<li>Not be in Spanish territory illegally.</li>
<li>Be at least 18 years old.</li>
<li>Have no criminal record in Spain or in the countries where they have lived during the past two years, for offenses under the Spanish Law. Additionally, a declaration of compliance must be submitted confirming that they have no criminal record in the last five years.</li>
<li>Not be considered eligible for visas in the territorial area of countries with which Spain has signed an agreement to this effect.</li>
<li>Have public or private health insurance with an insurance company authorized to operate in Spain.</li>
<li>Have sufficient financial resources for themselves and their family members during their stay in Spain.</li>
<li>Pay the fee for processing the authorization or visa.</li>
